WE CONDUCTED A PLANT-BASED COOKING CLASS WITH OKLAHOMA BAPTIST HOMES WHERE WE TAUGHT MORE THAN 20 WOMEN THE BENEFITS OF A PLANT-BASED LIFESTYLE FOR THEIR BODY, MIND, SPIRIT, AND ENVIRONMENT. THESE WOMEN, THE MAJORITY OF WHOM WERE OMNIVORES, LOVED THE CLASS AND ASKED MANY QUESTIONS ABOUT LIVING A PLANT-BASED LIFESTYLE. WE CONDUCTED AN ICE CREAM SOCIAL WITH A TWIST FOR THE COMMUNITY AT NATURAL GROCERS WITH A GROUP OF 18 PEOPLE. WE ALSO CONDUCTED OUR COOKIES AND MILK SOCIAL WITH A TWIST AT NATURAL GROCERS, THE TWIST WAS THAT EVERYTHING WE MADE WAS VEGAN AND GLUTEN-FREE WITH A GROUP OF 20 PEOPLE. SERVED VEGETARIAN SNACKS TO 150 INMATES IN THE OKLAHOMA PRISON SYSTEM. AT ALL THESE EVENTS, WE DISTRIBUTED LITERATURE ON THE BENEFITS OF EATING HEALTHIER FOR OURSELVES AND THE PLANET. ADDITIONALLY, WE MAILED OUT MANY BOOKS, LITERATURE, AND PAMPHLETS ON THE BENEFITS OF PLANT-BASED LIVING.
