RIO GRANDE FARM PARK--38 ACRES OF OWNED AGRICULTURAL LAND USED TO PROVIDE ACCESS FOR LOW INCOME FAMILIES TO GROW VEGETABLES TO FEED THEIR FAMILIES ALSO USED AS AN EDUCATIONAL SPACE TO TEACH AGRICULTURAL PRACTICES GARDENING SOIL HEALTH AND OTHER RELATED TOPICS ALSO PROVIDES OPEN SPACE AND ACCESS TO RUNNING TRAILS TO COMMUNITY. COOKING MATTERS--THIS PROGRAM PROVIDES 6 WEEK COOKING COURSES TO LOW INCOME FAMILIES TO TEACH THEM TO COOK HEALTHY ON A BUDGET FOOD HUB--THIS IS THE VALLEY ROOTS FOOD HUB PROVIDING A BROKERING AND TRANSPORTATION SERVICE TO FAMILY FARMERS AND PROVIDING THE COMMUNITY ACCESS TO THIS LOCALLY GROWN FOOD.
