WE SEEK TO INSPIRE A TRANSFORMATION IN FOOD POLICY, PRODUCTION PRACTICES AND MARKET FORCES SO THAT THEY ENSURE EQUITY, SUSTAINABILITY AND PLEASURE IN THE FOOD WE EAT.

SEED TO TABLE PROGRAM - SLOW FOOD DENVER'S SEED-TO-TABLE SCHOOL FOOD PROGRAM SUPPORTS SCHOOL GARDENS AND TASTE EDUCATION CLASSES IN SCHOOLS ACROSS THE DENVER METRO AREA. AS A CENTRAL RESOURCE FOR MORE THAN 60 SCHOOL GARDEN PROGRAMS, SLOW FOOD DENVER EMPOWERS CHILDREN TO BECOME ENTHUSIASTIC SUPPORTERS OF GOOD, CLEAN, AND FAIR FOOD.
COMMUNITY TABLE PROGRAM - WE SEEK TO STRENGTHEN OUR LOCAL FOOD COMMUNITY THROUGH EDUCATION AND ADVOCACY. SLOW FOOD DENVER PROVIDES THE COMMUNITY WITH OPPORTUNITIES TO CONNECT WITH LOCAL FOOD PRODUCERS, TO SUPPORT URBAN AGRICULTURE, TO LEARN ABOUT THE COMPLEX FOOD SYSTEM, AND TO BUILD COMMUNITY THROUGH SHARING FOOD.
