LOBBYING - RHA PAYS CONTRACT LOBBYISTS IN OREGON AND WASHINGTON TO ADVOCATE ON LEGISLATION AND REGULATION ON VARIOUS TOPICS INCLUDING HYDROGEN, ZERO-EMISSION TRANSPORTATION, GREENHOUSE GAS EMISSION REDUCTION, HYDROGEN PRODUCTION METHODS, AND CLEAN ENERGY PRODUCTION.


OTHER - SYMPOSIUM AND PCEF


GENERAL PROGRAMS - RHA PROVIDES INFORMATION, EDUCATION, AND OUTREACH ON RENEWABLE HYDROGEN TO A VARIETY OF INTERESTED STAKEHOLDERS, INCLUDING INDUSTRY, INDIVIDUALS, GOVERNMENT AGENCY STAFF, ELECTED OFFICIALS AND STAFF, AND TRADE GROUPS. WE HOST ABOUT 36 REGULARLY SCHEDULED COMMITTEE MEETINGS PER YEAR FOR MEMBERS, SPEAK AND PRESENT AT ABOUT 10-12 CONFERENCES PER YEAR, AND ATTEND ABOUT 50 GOVERNMENT-HOSTED STAKEHOLDER MEETINGS, REGULATORY PROCEEDINGS AND LEGISLATIVE HEARINGS PER YEAR. WE ALSO HOLD AN ANNUAL CONFERENCE TO EDUCATE THE GENERAL PUBLIC ABOUT THE DECARBONIZATION BENEFITS OF HYDROGEN.


BE GRANT - RHA RECEIVED A GRANT FROM BREAKTHROUGH ENERGY TO CARRY OUT AN EVENT TO PRESENT INFORMATION ABOUT HYDROGEN PROPERTIES, POLICY, AND PROJECTS TO ELECTED OFFICIALS, LABOR GROUPS, REPRESENTATIVES OF ENVIRONMENTAL JUSTICE AND SOCIAL EQUITY GROUPS AND NATIVE TRIBES. THE GRANT ALSO COVERS ACTIVITIES RELATED TO RAISING AWARENESS AND SUPPORT FOR A HYDROGEN HUB IN THE PNW AMONG DIFFERENT STAKEHOLDER GROUPS SUCH AS TRIBES, UNIONS, EJ COMMUNITIES, AND ENVIRONMENTAL ADVOCATES.
