FOSTERING: FOSTER FAMILIES PLAY AN ESSENTIAL ROLE IN CARING FOR FOSTER CHILDREN BY GIVING THEM A PLACE TO LIVE TEMPORARILY WHILE THEY CANNOT LIVE AT HOME. BEING A FOSTER PARENT CAN BE CHALLENGING AND DEMANDING. IT REQUIRES LOVE, PATIENCE AND STRONG PARENTING SKILLS. SUPPORTING AND ENCOURAGING THESE FAMILIES AND HELPING THESE CHILDREN GROW, LEARN AND LIVE WITH SECURITY IS SOMETHING EACH OF US CAN PLAY A ROLE IN. FROM DROPPING OFF MEALS AND SENDING NOTES OF ENCOURAGEMENT TO MENTORING FOSTER YOUTH, THERE ARE MANY WAYS TO CONTRIBUTE.
