WE ARE A MEMBERSHIP ORGANIZATION WITH LOCAL CHAPTERS FROM COAST TO COAST, PROVIDING NETWORKING, FELLOWSHIP, COMMUNITY, AND SUPPORT TO EACH PARTICIPANT. AT REGULAR MEETINGS CHAPTER MEMBERS CAN CULTIVATE SOCIAL BONDS, AND CHAPTERS ALSO WILL FREQUENTLY PARTICIPATE IN SELF- IMPROVEMENT ACTIVITIES, SUCH AS PRACTICING PUBLIC SPEAKING OR ENGAGING IN PHYSICAL EXERCISE, OR COMMUNITY PROJECTS, SUCH AS CLEANING UP PARKS OR DISTRIBUTING FOOD TO THE HOMELESS. THE GOAL OF SUCH COLLECTIVE ACTIONS IS NOT ONLY TO ACHIEVE THE GOOD IN THOSE ACTIONS THEMSELVES (E.G. MAKING A PARK CLEANER), BUT ALSO TO FOSTER CAMARADERIE AS MEMBERS MUTUALLY CULTIVATE A SENSE OF THEIR COMMON IDENTITY.
