THE MISSION OF THE 6 FOUNDATION IS TO TREAT AND EDUCATE VETERANS, FIRST RESPONDERS AND SURVIVORS OF TRAUMATIC EXPOSURE THROUGH STATE OF THE ART MULTI-DISCIPLINARY REHABILITATION.

WEVE GATHERED EXPERTS IN SPORTS MEDICINE AND COGNITIVE AND BEHAVIORAL HEALTH TO CREATE A COHESIVE REHABILITATIVE MODEL FOCUSED ON TRAUMA-INFORMED CARE. OUR MODEL ACKNOWLEDGES THE ROLE OF POST-TRAUMATIC STRESS INJURY AND HAS COMPREHENSIVE TREATMENT SOLUTIONS. THE 6 FOUNDATION IS AN AVENUE THAT ENABLES OUR THERAPISTS TO BOTH ADDRESS OCCUPATIONAL PERFORMANCE AND DIMINISH SOME OF THE EFFECTS OF TRAUMA.THE 6 FOUNDATION HAS CREATED A CULTURE THAT ALLOWS OUR POPULATIONS TO TRUST OUR PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE. THIS ALLOWS US TO UTILIZE THE OCCUPATIONAL INJURY PORTAL AND INCORPORATE MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES INTO OUR TREATMENT MODEL. THE NEED FOR THESE SERVICES HAS GROWN TREMENDOUSLY IN SONOMA COUNTY WITH THE LARGE-SCALE FIRES, COVID 19, AND EVER INCREASING DEMANDS FOR VETERAN AND EMERGENCY SERVICES.
