RESTORATION FOR ALL INC. (REFA) OFFERS COMMUNITY WELLNESS AND CULTURAL HEALING ACTIVITIES THROUGH OUR CULTURAL HEALING PROJECT BY FINDING NEW WAYS FOR CONNECTION, CREATIVITY, AND CULTURAL HEALING DURING THIS TIME OF ISOLATION SO THAT WE COME TOGETHER TO BRIDGE THE SOCIAL DISTANCE GAP AND ADDRESSING ITS EFFECTS ON THE MENTAL HEALTH OF AFRICAN IMMIGRANTS AND REFUGEES THROUGH COMMUNITY AND CULTURAL CONNECTIONS.
RESTORATION FOR ALL INC. (REFA) PROVIDES OUTREACH AND ENGAGEMENT SERVICES AS WELL AS RESOURCE CONNECTION AND REFERRAL TO CULTURALLY AND LINGUISTICALLY APPROPRIATE SERVICES THROUGH OUR ESSENTIAL CONNECTIONS PROJECT WHICH IS AN INTERVENTION PROJECT THAT IS EMBEDDED IN A MULTI-LEVEL MULTICHANNEL APPROACH TARGETING THE AFRICAN IMMIGRANTS AND REFUGEES AS A WHOLE, AND SPECIFIC AUDIENCES SUCH AS UNDOCUMENTED IMMIGRANTS, ASYLUM SEEKERS, THOSE THAT ARE GOING THROUGH REMOVAL PROCEEDINGS, TRAFFICKED VICTIMS AND SURVIVORS, OLDER ADULTS/ELDERS AS WELL AS PEOPLE LIVING WITH DISABILITIES. THE PROJECT OVERALL GOAL IS TO CONTRIBUTE TO EFFORTS IN ENSURING THAT INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES ARE ENGAGED AND HAVE ACCURATE AND UP-TO-DATE ACCESS CULTURALLY AND LINGUISTICALLY APPROPRIATE RESOURCES AND SERVICES SUCH AS PUBLIC HEALTH SERVICES (COVID-19 PREVENTION, TESTING AND VACCINATION); CENSUS AND VOTING INFORMATION AND RESOURCES; AND SOCIAL SERVICES (ADULT AND CHILDREN'S MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES), FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE SERVICES, EVICTION PREVENTION AND EMERGENCY RENTAL ASSISTANCE, FOOD SECURITY AND EMPLOYMENT ASSISTANCE FOR WHICH THEY QUALIFY BOTH IN THEIR COMMUNITY AND AT THE COUNTY.

(REFA) ELIMINATES ECONOMIC DISPARITIES ESPECIALLY AMONGST AFRICAN IMMIGRANT AND REFUGEE WOMEN AND GIRLS BY ENCOURAGING AND PROMOTING THEIR PARTICIPATION IN APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAMS REGISTERED WITH THE MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF LABOR AND INDUSTRY (DLI), AND ASSISTING IN DEVELOPING SMALL BUSINESS PLANS, SKILLS, AND MARKETING STRATEGIES.
