CARE SUPPORT WITH MEMORY LINK PROGRAM AND SUPPORT GROUPS - PROVIDE DEMENTIA CARE EDUCATION, CONNECTIONS TO OTHER COMMUNITY RESOURCES, AND TRAINING IN MANAGING BEHAVIORAL CHALLENGES. SERVED OVER 170 FAMILIES INCLUDING PERSONS WITH DEMENTIA AND CAREGIVERS.
ON A POSITIVE NOTE CHOIR, SPECIAL EVENTS, AND EDUCATION HAD OVER 1000 ATTENDEES IN 2023
MINDWORKS- FACILITATED TWICE WEEKLY CLASS FOR PEOPLE WITH EARLY TO MID-STAGE DEMENTIA, DESIGNED TO PROMOTE BRAIN AND OVERALL HEALTH, AND PROVIDES RESPITE TO CAREGIVER. WE HELD 12 EACH WEEK IN 2023. THIS PROGRAM SUPPORTS OVER 100 FAMILIES AT DIFFERENT TIMES. MINDWORKS PROVIDES OVER 10,000 HOURS OF RECREATIONAL THERAPY FOR PEOPLE WITH DEMENTIA AND RESPITE TIME FOR CAREGIVERS.
MEMORY CAFE- 15 DIFFERENT CAFES MONTHLY MEET FOR SOCIALIZATION FOR DEMENTIA PERSONS & CAREGIVERS. THERE ARE OVER 2000 ANNUAL ATTENDEES.
