THE ORGANIZATION HAS BUILT A NETWORK OF 4,500 LATINX LEADERS, 200 CROSS- SECTOR PARTNERS, AND OVER 150 LATINX BUSINESSES THAT PARTICIPATE IN ITS CIVIC LEADERSHIP AND SMALL BUSINESS PROGRAMMING. IN 2020, AMPLIFY LATINZ (1) NOMINATED OVER 100 LATINO LEADERS FOR GOVERNMENT AND NONPROFIT BOARDS, COMMISSIONS, ELECTED OFFICE AND EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP;(2) HOSTED 35+ ONLINE WORKSHOPS, FORUMS AND CONFERENCES ON TOPICS THAT IMPACT THE LATINO COMMUNITY IN MASSACHUSETTS; (3) FEATURED 50 LATINX LEADERS IN VISIBILOTY CAMPAIGNS, AND (4) ADVOCATED FOR INCREASED FUNDING AND RESOURCES FOR THE LATINO COMMUNITY. IN 2020, THE ORGANIZATION EXPANDED ITS POWERUP BUSINESS PROGRAM TO INCLUDE VIRTUAL EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMING GRANT FUNDIN THROUGH PARTNERS AND PPP AND PROVIDED GRANT APPLICATION SUPPORT TO OVER 75 LATINO BUSINESSES DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC.
