TO BUILD LATINX ECONOMIC AND POLITICAL POWER BY SIGNIFICANTLY INCREASING LATINX CIVIC ENGAGEMENT, ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY, AND LEADERSHIP REPRESENTATION ACROSS SECTORS.

THE ORGANIZATION HAS BUILT A NETWORK OF 4,500 LATINX LEADERS, 200 CROSS- SECTOR PARTNERS, AND OVER 150 LATINX BUSINESSES THAT PARTICIPATE IN ITS CIVIC LEADERSHIP AND SMALL BUSINESS PROGRAMMING. IN 2020, AMPLIFY LATINZ (1) NOMINATED OVER 100 LATINO LEADERS FOR GOVERNMENT AND NONPROFIT BOARDS, COMMISSIONS, ELECTED OFFICE AND EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP;(2) HOSTED 35+ ONLINE WORKSHOPS, FORUMS AND CONFERENCES ON TOPICS THAT IMPACT THE LATINO COMMUNITY IN MASSACHUSETTS; (3) FEATURED 50 LATINX LEADERS IN VISIBILOTY CAMPAIGNS, AND (4) ADVOCATED FOR INCREASED FUNDING AND RESOURCES FOR THE LATINO COMMUNITY. IN 2020, THE ORGANIZATION EXPANDED ITS POWERUP BUSINESS PROGRAM TO INCLUDE VIRTUAL EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMING GRANT FUNDIN THROUGH PARTNERS AND PPP AND PROVIDED GRANT APPLICATION SUPPORT TO OVER 75 LATINO BUSINESSES DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO LAUNCHED ITS LATINO BUSINESS RESILIENCE PROGRAM THAT OFFERS HANDS-ON TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE AND BUSINESS COACHING TO PREPARE LATINO BUSINESSES FOR CAPITAL ACCESS AND TO EXPAND THEIR SOCIAL NETWORKS AND CONTRACTING OPPORTUNITIES.
