1.CLA TAX SECTION HOSTED FOUR EVENTS TO PROVIDE PRO BONO SERVICE TO HELP TAXPAYERS WITH TAX APPEALS WITH THE CALIFORNIA OFFICE OF TAX APPEALS. ATTORNEYS WITH CLA ASSISTED TAXPAYERS NAVIGATE MEDIATION WITH THE OTA RESULTING IN MANY APPEALS BEING RESOLVED.2.CONTINUED WITH EFFORTS TO PROMOTE DIVERSITY EQUITY AND INCLUSION PROGRAMMING THROUGHOUT THE ORGANIZATION. THIS RESULTED IN ENSURING THAT THE STAFF AT CLA REPRESENTED THE DIVERSITY OF THE WORKFORCE WOMEN, PEOPLE OF COLOR, LGBTQ+ AND INDIVIDUALS OF ALL AGES.3.THE CIVICS ENGAGEMENT AND OUTREACH COMMITTEE CONTINUED TO PROVIDE CIVICS CONTENT TO EXPLAIN HOW LAWS ARE MADE IN CALIFORNIA TO EDUCATORS AND LOCAL COMMUNITY LEADERS.4.IMPLEMENTED NEW INFORMATION SYSTEMS TO BETTER MANAGE MEMBER EXPERIENCE. A MORE COMPREHENSIVE ASSOCIATION MEMBERSHIP SYSTEM (AMS) IS BEING UTILIZED TO ALLOW MEMBERS TO INTERACT WITH THE ASSOCIATION BETTER WITH EVENTS, REGISTRATION, MEMBERSHIP, CONTINUING LEGAL EDUCATION AND GOVERNANCE ROLES.
