THE MAKING EVERY VOTE COUNT FOUNDATION (MEVCF) IS A 501(C)(3) NONPROFIT, NONPARTISAN ORGANIZATION, DEDICATED TO IMPROVING CIVIC ENGAGEMENT BY EXAMINING U.S. PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS, AND WAYS TO ENSURE THAT EVERY VOTE CAST IN AN ELECTION COUNTSAND COUNTS EQUALLYIN DETERMINING WHO BECOMES PRESIDENT.

CIVIC EDUCATION - MEVCF IS DEDICATED TO EDUCATING THE PUBLIC AT LARGE THROUGH PUBLIC EVENTS AND EDUCATIONAL CONTENT THAT IS ON OUR WEBSITE. SINCE OCTOBER 2018 WE HAVE PRODUCED OVER 40 VIDEOS, RANGING FROM TOPICS THAT INCLUDE THE HISTORY OF RACISM THAT LED TO THE ELECTORAL COLLEGE, TO THE EFFECT THE CURRENT SYSTEM HAS ON WOMEN, AND EVEN RELIGIOUS MINORITIES. OUR VIDEOS HAVE RECEIVED ALMOST 4,000 VIEWS. MEVCF BLOGS AND POSTS FREQUENTLY ON NEW TOPICS RELATED TO CHANGING THE CURRENT WINNER-TAKE-ALL SYSTEM. MEVCF ALSO REGULARLY PARTICIPATES IN PUBLIC EVENTS SUCH AS THE UNRIG CONFERENCE AND WE HOSTED TWO EVENTS LAST YEAR IN OHIO AND MICHIGAN RESPECTIVELY, THAT WERE EDUCATIONAL FORUMS. MEVCF ALSO HOSTED A CONFERENCE THIS YEAR THAT BROUGHT TOGETHER CAMPAIGN EXPERTS, ELECTED OFFICIALS AND SCHOLARS TO DISCUSS AND EDUCATE THE PUBLIC ON WHAT ELECTIONS IN THE UNITED STATES WILL LOOK LIKE UNDER THE NATIONAL POPULAR VOTE INTERSTATE COMPACT.
POLLING - MEVCF ALSO CONDUCTS POLLING AND RESEARCH CONCERNING PUBLIC SENTIMENT REGARDING THE NATIONAL POPULAR VOTE ACROSS THE COUNTRY. UTILIZING THE EXPERTISE OF ANDREW CLASTER, FORMER OBAMA FOR AMERICA DEPUTY ANALYTICS CHIEF, MEVCF PURSUED POLLING PROJECTS IN INDIVIDUAL STATES AND NATIONWIDE.
OUTREACH - MEVCF IS ALSO CREATING MORE PUBLIC AWARENESS BY BUILDING PARTNERSHIPS WITH OTHER ORGANIZATIONS. SOON MEVCF WILL BE COORDINATING WITH DOZENS OF LIKE-MINDED GROUPS DEDICATED TO RAISING AWARENESS OF THE PROBLEMS INHERENT IN THE WINNER-TAKE-ALL SYSTEM OF APPOINTING PRESIDENTIAL ELECTORS AND OTHER ISSUES CONCERNING THE CONDUCT OF PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS.
