AN INTERGENERATIONAL ORGANIZATION DEDICATED TO BUILDING AND SUSTAINING GRASSROOTS POWER. WE DO SO BY BUILDING AND STRENGTHENING THE INFRASTRUCTURE OF GRASSROOTS SOCIAL MOVEMENTS, ELIMINATING THE BARRIERS TO ORGANIZING FOR COMMUNITY-BASED AND YOUTH LEADERS, AND ADVANCING BROAD AND MEANINGFUL CIVIC ENGAGEMENT AND SOCIAL IMPACT THROUGH OUR CAMPAIGNS, PROGRAMS AND PROJECTS.

Part 3 - Line 4a

IN 2022, FUTURE INCUBATOR, OUR FISCAL SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM, ONBOARDED FIVE NEW FISCAL PROJECTS AND KICKED OFF A PROCESS TO BUILD OUT A NEW FRAMEWORK AROUND TRAININGS. THE YOUTH DIRECT ACTION FUND, OUR YOUTH-CENTERED FUND, GRANTED OUT NEARLY $800,000 ACROSS 208 APPROVED APPLICATIONS FOR GROUPS DOING PHENOMENAL ORGANIZING WORK ON THE GROUND. OUR COMMUNICATIONS TEAM ROLLED OUT A BRILLIANT AND NATIONALLY-ACCLAIMED CLIMATE STORYTELLING SERIES, TOKALA, WORKING TO TELL THE STORIES OF QTBIPOC YOUTH CLIMATE AND ENVIRONMENTAL JUSTICE ORGANIZERS. FINALLY, OUR CIVIC ENGAGEMENT TEAM RAN SUCCESSFUL FIELD AND DIGITAL VOTER REGISTRATION, GOTV, AND VOTER PROTECTION PROGRAMS IN ARIZONA AND GEORGIA, CONTRIBUTING TO THE HISTORICAL YOUTH VOTER TURNOUT IN THE 2022 MIDTERMS.
