WE DO SO BY BUILDING AND STRENGTHENING THE INFRASTRUCTURE OF GRASSROOTS SOCIAL MOVEMENTS, ELIMINATING THE BARRIERS TO ORGANIZING FOR COMMUNITY-BASED AND YOUTH LEADERS, AND ADVANCING BROAD AND MEANINGFUL CIVIC ENGAGEMENT AND SOCIAL IMPACT THROUGH OUR CAMPAIGNS, PROGRAMS AND PROJECTS.

IN 2021, MARCH ON/FUTURE COALITION CONTINUED TO FOCUS ON SUPPORTING GRASSROOTS ORGANIZING. WE PROVIDED SMALL GRANTS THROUGH OUR FUNDS, THE YOUTH DIRECT ACTION FUND AND THE MARCH ON COMMUNITY FUND, AND WE DEVELOPED, COORDINATED AND EXECUTED SEVERAL HIGH IMPACT CIVIC ENGAGEMENT CAMPAIGNS. MARCH ON/FUTURE COALITION IS ALSO THE FISCAL SPONSOR FOR MORE THAN 20 INDEPENDENT GRASSROOTS PROJECTS, ACROSS A WIDE RANGE OF PROGRAMMING FROM CRIMINAL JUSTICE REFORM TO CLIMATE ADVOCACY, CIVIC ENGAGEMENT, AND HUMAN RIGHTS, UNDER THE UMBRELLA OF OUR FUTURE INCUBATOR PROGRAM.
