THE MISSION OF HOLA CAROLINA IS TO BUILD BRIDGES BETWEEN CULTURES, EMBRACE DIVERSITY, AND CREATE MORE ECONOMICALLY VIBRANT COMMUNITIES.

EQUALLY INFORMED INITIATIVE HOLA CAROLINA EXPLORES AND GIVES A CRITICAL VOICE TO THE DIVERSITY OF OUR COMMUNITY. OUR COMMUNICATIONS TEAM FILLS THE GAP IN NEWS INFORMATION, COMBATS MISINFORMATION AND IMPROVES COMMUNICATION FOR THE SPANISH-SPEAKING COMMUNITY IN 2022, PRODUCED 5,483 NEWS STORIES IN SPANISH.


EQUITY IN HEALTH FOR IMMIGRANT COMMUNITIES HEALTH EQUITY IS THE STATE IN WHICH EVERYONE HAS A FAIR AND JUST OPPORTUNITY TO ATTAIN THEIR HIGHEST LEVEL OF HEALTH. OUR FOCUS IN 2022 WAS ADDRESSING FOOD INSECURITIES AND ENSURING AFFORDABLE HEALTH COVERAGE FOR IMMIGRANT POPULATIONS. HOLA CAROLINA DISTRIBUTED 84,000 LBS OF FOOD TO MORE THAN 8,300 IMMIGRANT FAMILIES. IN ADDITION, 48 OUTREACH EVENTS WERE DESIGNED TO EDUCATE ELIGIBLE BUT UNENROLLED IMMIGRANT RESIDENTS ABOUT HEALTHCARE INSURANCE OPTIONS.


EDUCATION & OUTREACH HOLA CAROLINA PROGRAMS BRIDGE CULTURAL COMMUNICATION BETWEEN GOVERNMENT, BUSINESS AND HISTORICALLY UNDERREPRESENTED AND UNDERSERVED COMMUNITIES. IN 2022, 76,841 PEOPLE PARTICIPATED IN OUR EDUCATION & OUTREACH EVENTS.
