OTHER MISCELLANEOUS PROGRAMS OF THE NONPROFIT WERE EVENTS AND FUNDRAISING AND COMMUNITY AT LARGE, PROGRAMS TO SUPPORT CAUSES OF THE NONPROFITS MISSION STATEMENT, LIKE ACT BLUE, BENEVITY FUND, MIGHTY CAUSE, AND NETWORK FOR GOOD, AMONG MANY OTHER CAUSES. FOR 2022 GOT VAX WAS A MAJOR PROGRAM TO DEAL WITH THE COVID 19 PANDEMIC CRISIS. IN 2022 THE NONPROFIT COLLABORATED WITH THE COMMUNITY TO CONTINUE OUR VACCINE EFFORTS WITH GOTVAX. TOGETHER WE MADE SURE OVER 13,000 LOW INCOME AND IMMIGRANT NEVADANS RECEIVED THEIR DOSES OF LIFE SAVING COVID 19 AND OTHER VACCINES. FURTHERMORE, FOR THE ESPERANZA FUND, 13,335.00 WAS GRANTED TO 44 FAMILIES RECEIVING AN INDIVIDUAL CHECK OF 300.00 EACH IN THE PAST YEARS. DESPITE THE FACT THAT THE NEVADA GOVERNOR DID NOT RENEW THE PROGRAM WITH THE NONPROFIT, WE WILL CONTINUE TO ADVOCATE ITS BENEFITS AND SUCCESS TO ASSIST THE COMMUNITY AT LARGE. LIVE NATION WORLDWIDE IS A MEXICAN SINGER ALEJANDRO FERNANDEZS DONATION TO THE NONPROFIT MISSION TO HELP SUPPORT SCHOLARSHIPS FOR DACA RENEWALS AND GENERAL PROGRAMMING. HE DONATED A LARGE PORTION OF HIS ANNUAL FIESTA PATRIAS TICKET SALES PROCEEDS TO THE NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION.
DEFERRED ACTION FOR CHILDHOOD ARRIVALS (DACA) SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM ISSUED A TOTAL OF $990.00, IN SCHOLARSHIPS FOR 2023, TO COVER THE $495.00 APPLICATION FEE TO RENEW DACA APPLICATIONS. FOR 2023, MOREOVER, THE NONPROFIT HOSTED 150 VIRTUAL DACA INFORMATIONAL SESSIONS AT THE RE-OPENING OF THE DACA PROGRAM WITH 2 PARTICIPANTS FROM THE COMMUNITY AT LARGE, RECEIVING AN INDIVIDUAL CHECK OF $495.00 EACH.
COVID CAMPAIGN/CHAN ZUCKERBERG INITIATIVE: WHEN THE WORLD WAS HIT WITH COVID 19, WE WERE IN THE MIDST OF AN AGGRESSIVE FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN WITH SEVERAL LAS VEGAS CASINO PROPERTIES THAT HAD DACA AND OTHER IMMIGRANT EMPLOYEES AND INTERESTS. ALL THOSE CONVERSATIONS CEASED WHEN OUR STRIP WENT DARK, CUTTING OFF OUR FINANCIAL FUTURE. WE APPLIED THROUGH THE CHAN ZUCKERBERG INITIATIVE FOR THEIR COVID ASSISTANCE GRANTS, AND THROUGH THESE GRANTS WE WERE ABLE TO CONTINUE OUR OPERATIONS AS WELL AS BUY PPE FOR OUR FAMILIES, MANY OF WHICH COULDNT AFFORD THESE LIFE SAVING MATERIALS. WE WERE ALSO ABLE TO PROVIDE FAMILIES WITH VALUABLE COVID RESOURCES WHICH THEN OPENED THE DOORS FOR OUR PARTICIPATION IN THE ESPERANZA FUND AND OUR ABILITY TO PAY OUR STAFF TO PROVIDE THAT ASSISTANCE.IN 2021,THE NONPROFITS COVID-19 VACCINE PROGRAM PROVIDED OVER 13,000 DOSES. THROUGH HOSTING VACCINE CLINICS AND CALLING AND TEXTING PEOPLE AND COMMUNITY, TO LET THEM KNOW WHERE THEY COULD GET THE SHOTS
