HELD OUR LIGHTS FOR LIFE SUICIDE PREVENTION/EDUCATION 5K ON DECEMBER 10, 2022 WITH OVER 400 PARTICIPANTS, WITH INVOLVEMENT OF THE STUDENTS AS FOLLOWS:HAD STUDENTS AT MVHS DESIGN AND MANUFACTURE THE MEDALSHAD STUDENTS PAINT ROCKS WITH POSITIVE MESSAGES TO GIVE OUT AT RACEHAD STUDENTS AT MMHS TIME THE RUNNERSHAD STUDENTS CREATE BALLOON ARCHES FOR THE START AND FINISH LINES.HAD STUDENTS PACK RACE BAGS AND HAND OUT BAGS AT PICK-UP EVENTHAD STUDENTS SET-UP AND CLEAN UP ON RACE DAYHAD STUDENTS MAN WATER STATIONS, HAND OUT FINISHER MEDALS, AND CHEER DURING THE RACECONDUCTED SUICIDE PREVENTION TALKS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR:TEMECULA/MURRIETA INTERAGENCY COUNCILMULTIPLE BOOTH EVENTS SHARING SUICIDE PREVENTION RESOURCESSUPPORTED ALL THREE MURRIETA HSS WITH RESOURCES FOR SUICIDE PREVENTION/MENTAL HEALTH WEEKSPROVIDE MANY SCHOOLS IN SW RIVERSIDE COUNTY WITH ROCK PAINTING RESOURCESCONTINUED TO UPDATE OUR ONLINE PRESENCE AND UPDATING OUR WEBSITE AS NEEDED.CONTINUE OUR SOCIAL MEDIA PRESENCE ON INSTAGRAM & FACEBOOK TO REACH MORE STUDENTS.
