Describe the Organization's Program Activity:
Part 3
PROGRAM ACCOMPLISHMENTS FOR BREATHE LIFE MINISTRIES FOR 2023 2023 WAS OUR SIXTH FULL YEAR OF MINISTRY LED BY OUR TWO DIRECTORS, STEVE AND JAMIE WIECHMAN. STEVE IS AN ORDAINED PASTOR WHO RECEIVED HIS M.DIV. FROM CONCORDIA SEMINARY - ST. LOUIS, MO IN 2003. JAMIE IS A FORMER SCHOOL TEACHER AND HOMESCHOOL MOM WHO EARNED HER ADVANCED CERTIFICATE IN CHRISTIAN COUNSELING FROM CONCORDIA UNIVERSITY - IRVINE, CA IN 2018. WE ENDED 2022 ANTICIPATING THE DECISION TO EITHER OPERATE BREATHE LIFE AS A PART-TIME MINISTRY (TWO DIRECTORS OF 10-15HRS/WEEK EACH), OR TO SHUT DOWN BREATHE LIFE MINISTRIES. THANKFULLY, THE LORD HAS PROVIDED SO THAT WE COULD CONTINUE TO OPERATE WITH OUR TWO DIRECTORS WORKING 10-15 HOURS PER WEEK. STEVE CONTINUES TO PASTOR TRINITY LUTHERAN CHURCH IN ROSENBERG, TX FOR 30 HOURS PER WEEK. OUR PARTNERSHIP WITH THE TEXAS DISTRICT OF THE LUTHERAN CHURCH-MISSOURI SYNOD BEGAN TO PROVIDE SOME CLIENTS AND WE HAD A SUCCESSFUL ON-LINE END-OF-YEAR GIVING CAMPAIGN. IN 2023 WE INTERACTED WITH: >36 DIFFERENT INDIVIDUALS >16 DIFFERENT COUPLES >16 DIFFERENT GROUPS WE CONDUCTED OVER 170 SESSIONS IN 2023 (70 MORE THAN OUR HIGHEST YEAR): >EVERY SESSION WE DID WAS DONE AT A REDUCED COST OR FOR FREE TO THE CLIENT WE CONTINUE TO LOVE WHAT WE ARE DOING AND SEEING AN IMPACT IN THE LIVES OF THE PEOPLE WE SERVE. WE ARE GRATEFUL FOR A GROWING PARTNERSHIP WITH THE TEXAS DISTRICT OF THE LUTHERAN CHURCH-MISSOURI SYNOD. WE FEEL THAT BREATHE LIFE IS NOW A FAIRLY STABLE ENTITY AT A PART-TIME LEVEL FOR OUR TWO DIRECTORS. IN 2024 WE ANTICIPATE KEEPING BREATHE LIFE AT THE SAME LEVEL OF OPERATIONS AS 2023, WHILE JAMIE STARTS A MASTERS IN PSYCHOLOGY PROGRAM THAT WILL HELP US TAKE STEPS TO IMPACT SYSTEMS AND NOT JUST INDIVIDUALS.
