EMPOWERING QUEENS RESIDENTS BY LINKING THEM TO OR PROVIDING THEM WITH YOUTH AND FAMILY SUPPORT, EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES, FRESH FOOD RESOURCES, AND OTHER COMMUNITY SERVICES. WE CREATE CULTURALLY SENSITIVE PROGRAMS THAT INCREASE RESOURCES NEEDED BY OUR MULTI-ETHNIC FAMILIES IN QUEENS (PRIMARILY NORTH WEST QUEENS INCLUDING CORONA, ELMHURST, AND JACKSON HEIGHTS).

Part 3

PROVIDED THE COMMUINITY WITH FOOD SUPPORT. WE DISTRIBUTED FOOD TO HELP FEED MANY FAMILIES IN NEED. THIS INCLUDED A COMMUNITY FRIDGE PROJECT WHERE EVERYONE GOT TOGETHER TO STOCK UP THE COMMUNITY FRIDGES. ADDITIONALLY, WE RECEIVED GRANTS INCLUDING ONE FROM ROBIN HOOD FOR PROVIDING THE COMMUNTIY WITH FOOD.


OTHER MISCELLANEOUS PROGRAM SERVICES INCLUDING THE YOUTH AMBASSADOR PROGRAM AND DIRECT SUPPORT TO DISASTER VICTIMS. ALL OTHER COSTS RELATING TO RUNNING THE ORGANIZATION AND THE PROGRAMS NECESSARY TO ACHIEVE THE ABOVE NOTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS AND WORK ON OUR MISSION.


SUPPORT PROVIDED TO FAMILIES IN THE COMMUNITY. SUPPORT INCLUDED FAMILY GROUPS AND OTHER ACTIVITIES. ACTIVITIES PROVIDED TO THE COMMUNITY INCLUDED ARRANGING FOR FUN ACTIVIES SUCH AS ZUMBA LESSONS, SALSA LESSONS, PILATES, AND YOGA LESSONS.


PROVIDED FAMILIES WITH MUCH NEEDED SUPPORT DURING THE HOLIDAYS INCLUDING DONATING TURKEYS, A HOLIDAY TOY DRIVE, OTHER GOODS.
