SEE SCHEDULE ONMI CDC IS FOCUSED ON BUILDING MODERN COMMUNITY SPACES OUT OF UNDERUTILIZED PROPERTY LOCATED IN DISADVANTAGED NEIGHBORHOODS. NEIGHBORHOODS IN HIGH POVERTY LOCATIONS SEVERELY LACK WELL SPONSORED COMMUNITY SPACES OPEN TO FOLKS LOOKING TO SELF-IMPROVE AND DEVELOP STRONGER BONDS WITH THEIR FAMILIES AND NEIGHBORS. OUR NEW SPACES PROVIDE A SAFE, MODERN AND WELL MANAGED LOCATION TO BRING RESOURCES AND PROGRAMS INTENDED TO GREATLY ENHANCE THE LIVES OF OUR NEIGHBORS. EXAMPLES OF OUR POSITIVE PROGRAMMING INCLUDE AFTER SCHOOL ENRICHMENT, SUMMER SCHOOL, ADULT LEARNING, SOCIAL CLUBS, SPORTS WATCH AND RESIDENT APPRECIATIONS (BIRTHDAYS, ANNIVERSARIES, FATHER'S DAY, MOTHER'S DAY, FOR EXAMPLE).NMI CDC WILL INITIALLY FOCUS ON COMMUNITY CENTER DEVELOPMENT IN NEIGHBORHOODS LOCATED NEAR PROPERTIES CURRENTLY OWNED AND MANAGED BY MR. NMI CDC IS DEDICATED TO PRESERVING AND CREATING AFFORDABLE HOUSING OPPORTUNITIES FOR LESS FORTUNATE FAMILIES.
