THE PRIORITY OF THE ORGANIZATION IS TO PROVIDE AN EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION CENTER TO CHILDREN AFFECTED BY THE FLINT WATER CRISIS. THE FINANCING FOR CONSTRUCTION OF THE FACILITY INCLUDES NEW MARKET TAX CREDITS, AND THE ORGANIZATION LEASES THE FACILITY TO THE FOUNDATION FOR FLINT. THE FOUNDATION FOR FLINT LEASES THE FACILITY TO GENESEE INTERMEDIATE SCHOOL DISTRICT (GISD). GISD'S CURRENT PRIORITY IS TO PROVIDE EARLY EDUCATION FOR CHILDREN AFFECTED BY FLINT'S WATER CRISIS, AS WELL AS PROVIDE EDUCATION AND CARE FOR CHILDREN FROM BIRTH TO AGE 5.
