THE VAN WERT COUNTY FOUNDATION TRANSFORMS QUALITY OF LIFE BY SUPPORTING PURPOSEFUL ENDOWMENTS, INSPIRING COLLECTIVE GROWTH, AND BUILDING INITIATIVES FOR THE FUTURE.

SCHOLARSHIPS PROVIDED TO INDIVIDUALS IN VAN WERT, PAULDING, AND OTHER COUNTIES IN OHIO WHERE THE FOUNDATION HAS SIGNIFICANT INVOLVEMENT MONITORING QUALIFICATIONS.
THE FOUNDATION PROMOTES THE ARTS THROUGH THE SUPPORT OF THE VAN WERT AREA PERFORMING ARTS FOUNDATION WHICH BRINGS PERFORMING ARTS ENTERTAINMENT TO VAN WERT COUNTY AT MULTIPLE VENUES AND ALSO THROUGH POWERING THE SUMMER MUSIC SERIES IN FOUNTAIN PARK IN DOWNTOWN VAN WERT. THE ARTS ARE ALSO PROMOTED BY THE FOUNDATION'S SUPPORT OF THE WASSENBERG ART CENTER, A NOT FOR PROFIT COMMUNITY ART CENTER.
THE FOUNDATION FINANCIALLY SUPPORTS FRANKLIN PARK, A COMMUNITY PARK THE FOUNDATION WAS SIGNIFICANTLY INVOLVED IN CREATING AND TO WHICH THE FOUNDATION CONTRIBUTED SIGNIFICANTLY AND HIESTAND WOODS PARK WHICH BOASTS A PARK AREA AND A NATURE PRESERVE.ANOTHER VAN WERT COUNTY FOUNDATION PROGRAM, THE IMPACT PROGRAM, IS AIMED AT INCREASING THE CAPACITY OF NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS SERVING AS AN INFORMATION RESOURCE AND ACTING AS A CATALYST TO ENCOURAGE STRONGER COLLABORATION AMONG NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS ENHANCING COLLECTIVE COMMUNITY IMPACT.
