PROVIDED A LOCAL VENUE FOR COMMUNITY YOUTH OF ALL BACKGROUNDS TO ENGAGE IN WHOLESOME RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES THAT FOSTERED MUTUAL RESPECT FOR OTHERS AND A COMMITMENT TO SERVE. EXAMPLES OF ACTIVITIES ARE AS FOLLOWS: WORK & SERVICE: SERVICE PROJECTS (AFTER CAMPOUTS, SATURDAY MORNINGS, AND EAGLE SCOUT PROJECTS), CUTTING GRASS, TRIMMING GRASS AND PLANTS, FERTILIZING, SPREADING INSECTICIDE, CLEANING. MAINTAINING EQUIPMENT, TRAILS, CAMPSITES, FRUIT TREES, WILD LIFE HABITATS, AND OTHER AMENITIES.
