THE FAIR ENHANCES EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES BY FUNDING SCHOLARSHIPS AND ALLOWING AREA YOUTH TO DISPLAY AGRICULTURAL EXHIBITS. OVERALL, THE FAIR UNITES THE URBAN AND RURAL PORTIONS OF OUR COMMUNITY AND STRIVES TO ENTERTAIN AND PROMOTE THE COMMUNITY'S TRADITIONS, TALENTS, AND DIVERSITY. OUR GOAL IS TO PROVIDE WHOLESOME FAMILY ACTIVITIES THAT EDUCATE, ENTERTAIN, AND STIMULATE THOSE WHO ATTEND THE FAIR.

WE WILL EXEMPLIFY THE CHARACTERISTICS OF A PREMIER INTERCOLLEGIATE CONFERENCE THAT PRIDES ITSELF ON THE INCLUSION OF STUDENTS OF ALL DEMOGRAPHIC GROUPS WHO WISH TO PARTICIPATE IN A WELL-ROUNDED SPORTS PROGRAM. OUR INSTITUTIONS, OUR ACADEMIC GOALS, OUR ATHLETIC ASPIRATIONS REFLECT A COMMUNALITY OF PURPOSE AND A COMMITMENT TO EXCELLENCE IN THE CLASSROOM AND ON THE PLAYING FIELD.

THE HEAT IS A GRASSROOTS ORGANIZATION WHICH PROVIDES VOLLEYBALL TRAINING AND SKILL DEVELOP THROUGH TEAM PARTICIPATION AND CLINICS. TEAMS PRACTICE TWICE WEEKLY DURING THE MONTHS OF NOVEMBER-MARCH AND PARTICIPATE IN SANCTION EVENTS FOR CLUB VOLLEYBALL TEAMS IN THE STATE OF SOUTH CAROLINA WITH ADDITIONAL ELITE EVENTS IN GEORGIA, NC, OR FLORIDA. OUR TRAVELING TEAMS (USUALLY 15-17 IN NUMBER WITH ABOUT 10 GIRLS PER TEAM) INCLUDE GIRLS AGES 12-18 IN AGE. DEVELOPMENTAL CLINICS FOR GIRLS 10-18 AGE HELD THROUGH OUT THE YEAR AND REACH ABOUT 100 ADDITIONAL GIRLS. OUR SANCTION SEASON FOR TRAVELING TEAMS RUNS FROM DECEMBER THROUGH MARCH. WE HOST AN EVENT FOR ABOUT 100 OTHER TEAMS FROM SC AND GA IN FEBRUARY OR MARCH OF EACH YEAR. A REGIONAL WRAP-UP EVENT IS HELD IN APRIL.
