THE BEE & BUTTERFLY HABITAT FUND STAFF PROVIDED TECHNICAL GUIDANCE ON THE DESIGN, ESTABLISHMENT, AND MANAGEMENT OF POLLINATOR HABITAT TO PRIVATE LANDOWNERS, PUBLIC LAND MANAGERS, SOLAR POWER FARM DEVELOPERS, CORPORATIONS, BEEKEEPING GROUPS, AND UNIVERSITIES. FROM JULY 2022 THROUGH JUN 2023, 89 PROJECTS AND 570+ ACRES WERE PLANTED THROUGH THE SEED A LEGACY PROGRAM TO HIGH-QUALITY POLLINATOR HABITAT. THE BEE & BUTTERFLY HABITAT FUND STAFF PARTICIPATED IN SEVERAL RESEARCH PROJECTS THAT ARE EVALUATING THE BBHF POLLINATOR SEED MIXES FOR THEIR VALUE AND BENEFIT TO POLLINATOR HEALTH AND POPULATIONS. RESULTS SHOW THAT BBHF SEED MIXES CREATE A GREATER FLOWER ABUNDANCE THAN ALL OTHER COMPARABLE PROGRAMS AND HABITATS.
