RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT - A HEALTH IT SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT INCUBATOR APPLYING STATE-OF-THE-ART RESEARCH TOOLS THAT ENABLE PREDICTIVE ANALYTICS USING A WIDE SPECTRUM OF SOLUTIONS FROM POPULATION HEALTH TO PRECISION MEDICINE.
INTEROPERABILITY RESOURCES - IOI OFFERS TWO SANDBOXES FOR TESTING USING REALISTIC SYNTHETIC PATIENT DATA SETS: INTEROPERABILITY LAND(IOL), A HOSTED, SECURE 'PRIVATE LOCKER', AND MELD, AN OPEN-SOURCE, CLOUD-BASED PRODUCT. BOTH CAN BE USED FOR COLLABORATIVE TESTING AND INTEROPATHONS.
INTERNSHIP PROGRAM - A ROBUST SKILL BUILDING INTERN AND MENTORSHIP PROGRAM ADDRESSING THE HEALTH IT WORKFORCE TALENT GAP. THE PROGRAM AVERAGES 70 STUDENTS PER SEMESTER WITH 2021 SERVING 123 INTERNS.
