EPD SUPPORT PROGRAM: SUPPORT THE OVERALL PERFORMANCE CAPABILITIES OF THE EUGENE POLICE DEPARTMENT, PROMOTE EXCELLENCE IN LAW ENFORCEMENT, AND FOSTER A POSITIVE RELATIONSHIP WITH THE COMMUNITY BY PROVIDING FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO THE DEPARTMENT AND ITS OFFICERS THAT IS UNAVAILABLE THROUGH THE NORMAL BUDGETING PROCESS.


K-9 FUND: TO SUPPORT THE UNIQUE AND SPECIFIC NEEDS OF THE EUGENE POLICE K-9 TEAM.


COMMUNITY CARES FUND: TO PROVIDE OFFICERS ON THE STREET WITH IMMEDIATE ACCESS TO FUNDS IN SITUATIONS WHERE A RELATIVELY SMALL EXPENDITURE WILL HOPEFULLY AVOID A MORE COSTLY INTERVENTION IN THE FUTURE.
