Describe the Organization's Program Activity:

Part 3

TO SUPPORT THE TRINITY CENTER VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT, THE AUXILIARY RAISES FUNDS THROUGH ANNUAL SPECIAL EVENTS (BREAKFASTS & YARD SALE) AND AN ANNUAL APPEALS LETTER REQUESTING DONATIONS FROM THE COMMUNITY. THE AUXILIARY ALSO APPLIES FOR GRANTS. THE TRINITY CENTER VFD RECEIVES TAX REVENUE AS A DIVISION OF THE TRINITY CENTER COMMUNITY SERVICES DISTRICT. HOWEVER, THE TAX REVENUE IS NOT SUFFICIENT FOR CAPITAL OUTLAY OR LARGE EQUIPMENT EXPENDITURES. THE OVER 10 YEAR-LONG APPARATUS BUILDING FUNDRAISING EFFORT HAS BEEN COMPLETED AND THE BUILDING COMPLETED. THE 2023 FOCUS WAS ON THE APPARATUS BUILDING AND TWO USED FIRE APPARATUS VEHICLES. THE NEW VEHICLES ARE USED TO FIGHT BOTH STRUCTURE AND WILDLAND FIRES. ADDITIONALLY, TO ENABLE OUR FIRST RESPONDERS TO LOCATE REMOTE RURAL HOMES IN TIME-CRITICAL 911 CALLS, THE AUXILIARY MAKES AND INSTALLS HIGH-VISIBILITY ADDRESS SIGNS.
