THE HENRIETTA LACKS HOUSE OF HEALING IS A 501C3 NON-PROFIT THAT PROVIDES TRANSITIONAL LIVING, EDUCATIONAL SERVICES, AND HEALTH RESOURCES IN THE GREATER BALTIMORE AREA IN ORDER TO COMBAT HOMELESSNESS AND RECIDIVISM BY SUPPORTING RE-ENTRY INTO THE COMMUNITY AFTER RECENT RELEASE. FOUNDED BY HENRIETTAS GRANDSON, ALFRED LACKS CARTER, JR. TO PROVIDE EQUITABLE OPPORTUNITIES IN BALTIMORE FOR MARGINALIZED MEN AND WOMEN IN THE VERY COMMUNITY HENRIETTA RAISED HER CHILDREN.
