IN THE 2019 YEAR, PPC WORKED ON MOBILIZING THE PUBLIC AROUND POLICIES AND LEGISLATIVE ACTIONS WITH COLORADO PARKS AND WILDLIFE AND CURRENT STATE LAWS THAT LIST KEYSTONE SPECIES AS NUISANCES. PPC SUPPORTED A PETITION TO BAN BOBCAT TRAPPING IN COLORADO, ATTENDED CPW COMMISSIONER MEETINGS AND LOOKED AT THE COMPOSITION OF THE COMMISSIONERS OF CPW. PPC HELPED ORGANIZE AND LOBBY FOR PROSPECTIVE NEW COMMISSIONERS TO FILL SEATS. PPC WORKED ON EDUCATING OURSELVES AND OTHERS ABOUT EXISTING LAWS AND LEGISLATIVE PROCESSES. PPC FILED A LAWSUIT AGAINST WILDLIFE SERVICES FOR VIOLATING A CONTRACT IN REGARDS TO KILLING URBAN RODENTS.
