ANAW-USA'S MISSION IS TO SUPPORT ANAW-AFRICA'S EFFORTS TO BRING AWARENESS TO ANIMAL WELFARE REQUIRING ATTENTION TO LINKED RESOURCES OF CONSERVATION ONE HEALTH SUSTAINABLE FOOD SUPPLY RELATIONSHIP TO NATURE AND RELATIONSHIP TO SENTIENT ANIMALS. IN 2021 ANAW-USA CONTINUED IT'S IMPORTANT WORK COLLABORATING WITH ANAW AND OTHER PARTNERS TO PROMOTE ANIMAL WELFARE AND REGENERATIVE DEVELOPMENT IN AFRICA THROUGH FUNDRAISING ADVOCACY RESEARCH AND EDUCATION. WE HAVE FUNDED AND DIRECTLY SUPPORTED THE IMPLEMENTATION OF A WIDE RANGE OF INITIATIVES ACROSS THE PROGRAMMATIC AREAS OF: 1 CONSERVATION AND HUMANE EDUCATION; 2 HUMAN-WILDLIFE COEXISTENCE AND COMMUNITY EMPOWERMENT; 3 DROUGHT RELIEF AND CLIMATE CHANGE MITIGATION; 4 ANIMAL CARE POACHING PREVENTION AND WILDLIFE RESCUE; 5 SERVICE TRIPS PROVIDING RABIES VACCINATION AND SPAY NEUTER CLINICS YOUTH EDUCATIONAL PHILANTHROPY AND UNIVERSITY STUDENT EXCHANGES; AND 6 RESEARCH AND DATA COLLECTION ON ANIMAL WELFARE AND CONSERVATION ISSUES IN EAST AFRICA.
