SUMMIT COUNTY JUNIOR LIVESTOCK PROVIDES THE OPPORTUNITY FOR YOUTH TO SHOW AND SELL ANIMALS THROUGH THE SUMMIT COUNTY FAIR. YOUTH RANGE IN AGE FROM 8 TO 19 YEARS AND INCLUDE 3RD THROUGH 12TH GRADERS ENROLLED IN SUMMIT COUNTY SCHOOLS. THE YOUTH LEARN IMPORTANT LIFE SKILLS

IN 2021 THE MAIN PURPOSE OF THE SUMMIT COUNTY JUNIOR LIVESTOCK ASSOCIATION WAS MET BY REWARDING THE YOUTH AGES 8 TO 19 WITH ALL THEIR HARD WORK IN RAISING, TRAINING, CARING FOR AND SHOWING THEIR ANIMALS. IN ADDITION, VOLUNTEER BOARD MEMBERS AND OTHERS WORKED HARD TO ADVERTISE, ORGANIZE, RUN AND ACCOUNT FOR THE ORGANIZATION FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE CHILDREN.
