PROJECT #1 - WITH THE GLOBAL FUND PROJECTS, PHAROS HELPED TO DEVELOP NEW RESEARCH TOOLS AND PROCESSES FOR THE FUND TO NEGOTIATE, MONITOR, AND REPORT ON DOMESTIC FINANCING OF HIV, TB, AND MALARIA PROGRAMS IN LOW- AND MIDDLE-INCOME COUNTRIES. ALSO WITH GLOBAL FUND PROJECTS, PHAROS DEVELOPED A NEW RESEARCH TOOL TO PRIORITIZE INVESTMENTS IN IMPROVED HEALTH SYSTEMS TO SUPPORT NATIONAL HEALTH GOALS AND TESTED THIS IN 3 LATIN AMERICAN COUNTRIES.


PROJECT #4 - WITH HARVARD, PHAROS ASSISTED COUNTRIES IN AFRICA (ZIMBABWE AND KENYA) WITH RESEARCH TO DETERMINE THE COST OF THEIR NATIONAL AIDS CONTROL PROGRAMS AND THE DEVELOPMENT OF NATIONAL CAPABILITIES IN THIS AREA.PROJECT #5 - PREPARED RESEARCH ANALYSIS AND PROJECTIONS TO HELP THE GLOBAL FUND JUSTIFY ITS PAST AND PLANNED INVESTMENTS IN PANDEMIC PREPAREDNESS AND RESPONSE. PROJECT #3 - WITH ALIMA, PHAROS DID RESEARCH TO ESTIMATE THE COST OF DELIVERING A PACKAGE OF MATERNAL AND CHILD HEALTH SERVICES TO AFRICAN COUNTRIES AND CALCULATED THE COST-EFFECTIVENESS OF INNOVATIVE INTERVENTION STRATEGIES TO REDUCE SEVERE CHILD MALNUTRITION.
