THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES ADULT DAY SERVICES FOR INDIVIDUALS IMPACTED BY ALZHEIMER'S DISEASE AND RELATED DEMENTIA. THE PROGREAM SERVES AS A RESPITE SERVICE FOR FAMILY CAREGIVERS AND AN OPPORTUNITY FOR PEOPLE WITH DEMENTIA TO INTERACT WITH OTHERS IN A POSITIVE, SAFE AND SUPPORTIVE ENVIRONMENT. THE CENTER IS OPEN MONDAY - FRIDAY, 7:30AM - 5:30PM, OPERATES ON A VOLUNTARY COST SHARE CONTRIBUTION AND OFFERS TRANSPORTATION TO AND FROM THE CENTER, MEALS AND SNACKS, ACTIVITIES AND ASSISTANCE WITH ADL'S.
THE EDUCATION AND CARE COACHING PROGRAM PROVIDES FAMILIES WITH RESOURCES AND HELP WHILE THEY ARE CARING FOR SOMEONE DIAGNOSED WITH ALZHEIMER'S DISEASE OR DEMENTIA. THIS PROGRAM PROVIDES MUCH NEEDED SUPPORT, DIRECTION TO RESOURCES AND EDUCATION ABOUT DEMENTIA RELATED DISEASES FOR FAMILY CAREGIVERS.
THE INSTITUTIONAL RESPITE PROGRAM OFFERS SHORT-TERM RESPITE CARE TO FAMILY CAREGIVERS BY ASSISTING WITH THE COST OF ROOM AND BOARD ASSOCIATED WITH A TEMPORARY RESPITE STAY IN A NURSING HOME OR FACILITY. THIS PROGRAM PROVIDES A MUCH NEEDED BREAK FOR FAMILY CAREGIVESRS TO ATTEND TO PERSONAL OR MEDICAL NEEDS AND ALLOWS THE INDIVIDUAL WITH DEMENTIA TO BE CARED FOR IN A SAFE MANNER.
