THE ALIVE AND WELL FOUNDATION IS COMMITTED TO ENSURING THAT MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES BECOME A HUMAN RIGHT. TO THAT END, WERE WORKING TO MAKE SURE THAT ALL PSYCHOTHERAPISTS PRACTICE EVIDENCE-BASED CARE WHILE PROVIDING SUPPORT TO EVERY PATIENT WHO NEEDS IT.

CLINICAL MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELING SERVICES PROVIDED TO INDIVIDUALS, COUPLES AND FAMILIES. TWO THERAPISTS SERVED APPROXIMATELY 15-20 PATIENTS EACH PER WEEK IN 55 MINUTE LONG SESSIONS. SESSIONS WERE OFFERED IN ENGLISH OR SPANISH, PRIMARILY MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY IN THE ATLANTA, GEORGIA AREA. SESSIONS WERE OFFERED BOTH IN PERSON AND VIRTUALLY DURING 2021. POPULATIONS SERVED INCLUDED STUDENTS, MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS, LAW ENFORCEMENT AND VETERANS. SINCE INCEPTION OVER 300 INDIVIDUALS WERE SERVED IN MORE THAN 2,300 SEPARATE SESSIONS.
