MANAGE / MONITOR OPEN SPACE EASEMENTS - PLACE PROTECTIVE PILINGS & ROPE AROUND EASEMENTS TO AVOID DESTRUCTIVE ACTIVITY; REMOVE INVASIVE FLORA; PLANT NATIVE FLORA; AND KEEP LANDS CLEAN. ALSO INCLUDES HABITAT BERMS AND RELOCATION SERVICES FOR GOPHER TORTOISE(AN ENDANGERED SPECIES) AND OTHER WILDLIFE. ALL RELATED LABOR IS ACCOMPLISHED BY NON-PAID VOLUNTEERS.


ACQUIRE REAL PROPERTY OR CONSERVATION EASEMENTS ON REAL PROPERTY TO BE USED AS OPEN SPACE. EXPENSES INCLUDE THE PURCHASE (OR APPRAISED VALUE OF DONATED LAND / EASEMENTS), LEGAL EXPENSES, CLOSING COSTS, FILING COSTS, ETC. ALL LABOR IS PROVIDED BY NON-PAID VOLUNTEERS.


ACTVITIES AND INFORMATION ON ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION AND LAND CONSERVATION POLICIES. INCLUDES COST OF PAMPHLETS AND BROCHURES; WALKING PATHS AND OTHER EASEMENT ENHANCEMENTS; WALKING AND BOATING TOURS, WORKSHOPS, LECTURES, ETC.ALL RELATED LABOR IS ACCOMPLISHED BY NON-PAID VOLUNTEERS.
