OUR CONSERVATION APPROACH CENTERS ON EMPOWERING A DIVERSE SPECTRUM OF STAKEHOLDERS, INCLUDING COMMUNITIES, CONSERVATIONISTS, INDIGENOUS PEOPLES, RANCHERS, FORESTERS, FISHERFOLK, AND GOVERNMENT ENTITIES, TO SAFEGUARD HABITATS CRITICAL FOR A WIDE ARRAY OF WILDLIFE. OUR STRATEGY IS FIRMLY GROUNDED IN SCIENCE, FOSTERING COLLABORATION, OPTIMIZING EFFICIENCY, AND DISPLAYING ENTREPRENEURIAL SPIRIT TO ADDRESS THE FORMIDABLE CHALLENGES OF SCALE AND COMPLEXITY. IN 2023, OUR IMPACTFUL EFFORTS SPANNED ACROSS SEVERAL KEY REGIONS. IN NEW HAMPSHIRE, WE PROTECTED 14,000+ ACRES OF NORTHERN HARDWOOD FOREST AND SECURED A CRITICAL WILDLIFE CORRIDOR. IN THE FLORIDA EVERGLADES, WE ADVANCED THE ACQUISITION OF 11,142 ACRES, SAFEGUARDING THEM FROM DEVELOPMENT AND PURSUING THE PURCHASE OF MINERAL RIGHTS FOR OVER 458,000 ACRES. IN ALASKA, WE SECURED AN AGREEMENT FOR A VISITOR CENTER AT THE INTERSECTION OF THREE NATIONAL WILDLIFE REFUGES. INTERNATIONALLY, WE UNITED STAKEHOLDERS IN KENYA TO CONNECT RHINO CONSERVANCIES, FACILITATING RHINO SPECIES EXPANSION. IN SOUTH AFRICA, WE SECURED FUNDS TO CONSERVE 1,425 ACRES OF ENDANGERED RENOSTERVELD HABITAT. IN INDIA, WE PARTNERED WITH AARANYAK FOR COMMUNITY CONSERVATION IN KARBI ANGLONG.
