AN ORGANIZATION OF AUTOMOTIVE PROFESSIONALS DEDICATED TO SKILL BUILDING, QUALITY AND PRIDE IN THE INDUSTRY, THROUGH COMMUNITY SUPPORT BY WAY OF ENGAGEMENT IN CHARITABLE ACTIVITIES, EDUCATION AND INFORMATIONAL PROGRAMS IN THE COMMUNITY.

CAP PRODUCED ITS SEVENTH COMMUNITY IMPACT EVENT, CARFEST, WHICH ACCOMPLISHED THE FOLLOWING: PERFORMED AUTOMOTIVE REPAIRS FOR THE NEEDY. TWENTY FIVE VEHICLES WERE REPAIRED AND FAMILIES WERE BENEFITTED $95,000. GAVE AWAY EIGHT VEHICLES TO THE PUBLIC DURING THE EVENT CONSERVATIVELY VALUED AT $72,775 (RETAIL). APPROXIMATELY 8,000 PEOPLE ATTENDED THE EVENT INCLUDING THE GENERAL PUBLIC, AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY LEADERS (VENDORS, REPAIR SHOPS & TECHNICIANS) ALONG WITH FACULTY AND STUDENTS FROM FIVE TECHNICAL COLLEGES FROM ACROSS THE STATE.
RAISED AND DISTRIBUTED OVER $45,000 FOR YOUTH AND EDUCATION. FIVE TECHNICAL COLLEGES' AUTOMOTIVE PROGRAMS WERE AWARDED MULTIPLE $6,000 GRANTS.
