TRANSITION & RECOVERY HOUSING: HER SONG PROVIDES SAFE HOUSING AND COMPREHENSIVE SERVICES THROUGH A GROWING NETWORK OF HOMES. HER SONG OPERATED THREE SAFE HOMES IN THE JACKSONVILLE AREA IN 2022 AND ONE IN CHATTANOOGA. THROUGH PHASED PROGRAMMING, RESIDENTS GAIN SKILLS TO NAVIGATE LIFE AND BUILD LONG-TERM HEALTH, WELL-BEING, AND SELF-SUFFICIENCY. HER SONG PROGRAM SERVICES INCLUDE SCREENINGS, ASSESSMENTS, AND REFERRALS TO COMMUNITY SERVICE PROVIDERS, SAFETY PLANNING, CASE MANAGEMENT, SAFE HOUSING, COUNSELING, LIFE SKILLS CLASSES, EDUCATIONAL PLANNING, AND ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT MENTORING PROGRAMS. WITH THE COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT AND NEEDS ASSESSMENT OF THE AREA SUPPORTING THE DECISION, MANAGEMENT LATER TRAVELED TO NEW YORK TO BEGIN RECRUITING STAFF FOR A FY2024 LAUNCH OF THE NEW CITY.

CONTENT HAS BEEN DEPLOYED IN SCHOOLS AROUND FLORIDA AND TO HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS, LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS, LEGAL PROFESSIONALS, PARENTS, AND COMMUNITY MEMBERS.

THEY WERE SCREENED AND VALIDATED FOR HUMAN TRAFFICKING, AND CONNECTED WITH RESOURCES AT HER SONG AND WITHIN THE COMMUNITY. HER SONG ENGAGED WITH OVER 1,600 PEOPLE IN OUR OUTREACH EFFORTS. THIS INCLUDES THE STREETS AND/OR INCARCERATED IN JAILS OR PRISONS.
