THE WHITEFISH COMMUNITY FOUNDATION IS DEDICATED TO ENRICH THE QUALITY OF LIFE IN WHITEFISH BY FOSTERING PHILANTHROPY, BUILDING ENDOWMENTS, AND HELPING DONORS AND NONPROFITS BENEFIT OUR COMMUNITY.

WCF GRANT PROGRAMS: AWARDED GRANTS TOTALING $401,445 TO 45 LOCAL ORGANIZATIONS THAT SUPPORT ARTS & CULTURE, HEALTH & HUMAN SERVICES, EDUCATION, SPORTS & RECREATION, CONSERVATION AND CIVIC ACTIVITIES, INCLUDING 2 MAJOR GRANTS TOTALING $40,000 WHICH HELPED FLATHEAD LAND TRUST PURCHASE AND PRESERVE THE BAD ROCK CANYON PROPERTY, AND HELPED FUND NORTH VALLEY FOOD BANK'S EXPANSION. WCF ALSO AWARDED EMERGENCY GRANTS TOTALING $16,200 TO HELP FUND COVID-19 AT HOME KITS PROVIDED BY LOGAN HEALTH WHITEFISH, AND URGENTLY NEEDED REPAIRS TO GLACIER NORDIC CLUB'S COURSE LIGHTING.
GREAT FISH COMMUNITY CHALLENGE: A SIX-WEEK LONG FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN WHICH HELPED 61 NONPROFITS RAISE OVER $3,500,000 AND THE FOUNDATION AWARDED AN ADDITIONAL $665,000 IN MATCHING GRANTS PLUS $15,000 IN INCENTIVE GRANTS. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO PROCESSED ALL GIFTS AND PROVIDED ALL PRINTED MATERIALS, ADVERTISING, AND MARKETING AT AN APPROXIMATE COST TO THE ORGANIZATION OF OVER $285,000.
