THE ORGANIZATIONS MISSION IS TO CONNECT PEOPLE WHO CARE WITH CAUSES THAT MATTER TO BUILD A BETTER WYOMING. THE WYOMING COMMUNITY FOUNDATION IS A CHARITABLE ORGANIZATION WHICH BUILDS AND PRESERVES FUNDS ESTABLISHED BY INDIVIDUALS, FAMILIES, CORPORATIONS, AND AGENCIES.

THE WYOMING COMMUNITY FOUNDATION (WYCF) LARGEST PROGRAM EXPENSE RELATES TO OUR GRANTMAKING PROGRAM. WE HAVE TWO COMPETITIVE GRANT CYCLES PER YEAR WHERE NONPROFITS ARE ABLE TO APPLY ONCE A YEAR FOR FUNDING TO SUPPORT THEIR PROJECT OR ORGANIZATION IN WYOMING. GRANT AWARDS ARE PRIORITIZED AND FOCUSED ON PROGRAMS THAT SERVE OR ARE IDENTIFIED TO SUPPORT A COMMUNITY NEED, AS WELL AS HELP THE ORGANIZATION INCREASE CAPACITY TO CARRY OUT ITS MISSION. ALL GRANTEES ARE REQUIRED TO SUBMIT A FINAL REPORT AT THE END OF THE 12 MONTH GRANT PERIOD.
THE WYOMING AFTERSCHOOL ALLIANCE (WYAA) SUPPORTS AND PROMOTES QUALITY, EDUCATION-BASED OUT OF SCHOOL TIME PROGRAMS THAT POSITIVELY IMPACT WYOMINGS YOUTH AND FAMILIES. WYAA IS A LINCHPIN, CONNECTING AFTERSCHOOL PROVIDERS TO THE NECESSARY RESOURCES, TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE AND TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES.
THE WYOMING WOMENS FOUNDATION (WYWF) INVESTS IN THE ECONOMIC SELF-SUFFICIENCY OF WOMEN AND OPPORTUNITIES FOR GIRLS IN WYOMING. WYWF CONTINUES TO WORK TOWARDS EDUCATING ALL OF WYOMING ON THE WAGE GAP DISPARITY BETWEEN MEN AND WOMEN AS WELL AS PROVIDING FUNDING FOR STUDIES ON WHAT IT TAKES TO BE SELF-SUFFICIENT IN WYOMING COMMUNITIES.
