THE THEATER IS ORGANIZED TO BRING THE EXCITEMENT OF THE PERFORMING ARTS TO THE PEOPLE OF THE NORTHERN ROCKIES REGION; TO ENHANCE THE QUALITY OF LIFE IN BILLINGS AND SURROUNDING AREAS; AND TO PROVIDE A FACILITY FOR LOCAL PERFORMING ARTISTS.

1. PROMOTION AND PRODUCTION OF WORLD CLASS, ARTISTICALLY AND CULTURALLY DIVERSE PERFORMANCES FOR THE ENRICHMENT OF THE COMMUNITY AND SURROUNDING REGION. ABT PRESENTED 3 PERFORMANCES AFTER BEING CLOSED FOR A MAJOR $13.6MM RENOVATION IN 2019 FOLLOWED BY A YEAR OF COVID-19. THESE PERFORMANCES INCLUDED MUSIC, DANCE AND WORLD MUSIC. THESE PERFORMANCES/EVENTS SERVED 639 PATRONS AND ARTISTS. PATRONS ATTENDING EVENTS COME FROM A LARGE GEOGRAPHICAL AREA THAT IS BOUNDED BY THE CONTINENTAL DIVIDE TO THE WEST, THE CANADIAN BORDER TO THE NORTH, THE NORTH DAKOTA STATE LINE TO THE EAST AND INCLUDES A LARGE PORTION OF NORTHERN WYOMING. ABT CANCELLED 25 PERFORMANCES DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC.
2. COMMUNITY OUTREACH AND ARTS EDUCATION. BECAUSE ABT WAS CLOSED FOR MOST OF THE 2021 SEASON ABT PRESENTED 0 SCHOOL MATINEE PERFORMANCES THAT WERE ATTENDED BY 0 STUDENTS FROM OVER 0 INDIVIDUAL PUBLIC, PRIVATE, TRIBAL AND HOME SCHOOLS, AND SOCIAL SERVICE AGENCIES FOR YOUTH. THE THEATER CONDUCTED 1 COMMUNITY OUTREACH AND EDUCATION EVENT INCLUDING A MUSICAL DEMONSTRATION THAT REACHED 100 YOUNG STUDENTS AND NATIVE AMERICANS. ALBERTA BAIR THEATER'S ACCESS TO THE ARTS PROGRAM COLLABORATED WITH 12 SOCIAL SERVICE AGENCIES TO PROVIDE 30 FREE TICKETS TO THEIR CLIENTS WHO STRUGGLE WITH PHYSICAL, ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL CHALLENGES.
3. PROVIDE VENUE AND SERVICES TO COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS FOR PERFORMANCES, MEETINGS AND FUNDRAISING EVENTS. THE VENUE HOSTED 1 STAKEHOLDER EVENT THIS YEAR.
