CURRENTLY, APPROXIMATELY 80 GIRLS ARE LIVING AND LEARNING AT SOLA UNDER THE CARE AND INSTRUCTION OF AFGHAN, AMERICAN AND EUROPEAN EXPATS, AND RWANDAN EDUCATORS AND STUDENT LIFE PROFESSIONALS. IF AT SOME POINT IN THE FUTURE THE SECURITY CONDITIONS IN AFGHANISTAN CHANGE, SOLA WILL CONSIDER RETURNING TO KABUL.SOLA'S PROGRAM WAS ESTABLISHED TO NARROW THE SIGNIFICANT GAP IN EDUCATIONAL QUALITY YET NOW IT PROVIDES EDUCATION TO AFGHAN GIRLS WHO WOULD OTHERWISE HAVE LIMITED OR NO ACCESS TO EDUCATION.
