TO PROVIDE A PLACE WHERE YOUNG ADULTS WITH COGNITIVE AND DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILTIES CAN PARTICIPATE IN THEIR COMMUNITY, ACHIEVE INDEPENDENCE AND REALIZE THEIR FULL POTENTIAL.

IN 2021, TREASURE HOUSE CELEBRATED OUR THIRD ANNIVERSARY. TREASURE HOUSE STARTED TO REBUILD CENSUS IN 2021, REACHING CAPACITY OF 29 RESIDENTS BY JULY 2021. TREASURE HOUSE THEN CONTINUED TO WORK WITH INTERESTED CANDIDATES BY PROCESSING APPLICATIONS UP TO AND INCLUDING MEETING CRITIRIEA AWAITING TRIAL STAY. WE REMAINED AT FULL OCCUPANCY FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE FISCAL YEAR. PROGRAMING REFOCUSED ON EMPLOYMENT AND COMMUNITY INTEGRATION ONCE THERE WERE MORE OPPORTUNITIES AVAILABLE. 3 RESIDENTS WERE ENROLLED IN UNIVERSITIES VIA ONLINE PROGRAMMING WITH THE ASSISTANCE OF THE LIFE COACHING STAFF. WELLNESS PROGRAMS WERE RE-INSTATED THROUGH HIKE CLUB, WALKING GROUP, GOLF GROUP AND BIKING CLUB. ONLINE SHOPPING CONTINUED FOR GROCERIES AND PERSONAL ITEMS WITH THE ASSISTANCE OF COMMUNITY ASSISTANTS, LIFE COACHES, AND LEADERSHIP TEAM MEMBERS WERE PRIMARILY HOW RESIDENTS SECURED SUPPLIES. 2021 WAS A TIME IN WHICH RESIDENTS LEARNED TO ADAPT TO CHANGE WHICH WAS DIFFICULT FOR MOST. THE INTERNAL ACITIVITIES AND SUPPORT SYSTEMS WERE TRULY SUCCESSFUL IN THE WAY OF PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT FOR EACH AND EVERY RESIDENT.
