THE INSTITUTE WAS ABLE TO OFFER SEMINARS AND WORKSHOPS FOR VENTURA COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS. THE PROGRAM INCLUDED SUMMER INTERNSHIPS RELATED TO THE STUDENTS' MAJORS, AFRICAN AMERICAN ENRICHMENT AND COURSEWORK AND SUPPORT FOR TOURS OF HISTORICALLY BLACK COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES.
