NAISA HOSTS AN ANNUAL MEETING PROGRAM THAT INCLUDES PRESENTATIONS BY MEMBERS (WITH MEMBERSHIP OF APPROX. 1,000), WHO OFFER PAPERS, ROUNDTABLES, AND PANEL DISCUSSIONS, AND SCREEN FILMS TO ADVANCE THE SCHOLARSHIP OF INTERNATIONAL INDIGENOUS STUDIES. SCHOLARS MEET FOR THREE TO FOUR DAYS EACH YEAR TO SHARE RESEARCH FINDINGS, METHODS AND APPROACHES, AND TO COLLABORATIVELY PLAN FUTURE INITIATIVES OF INDIGENOUS STUDIES.NAISA ALSO PUBLISHES A JOURNAL, NATIVE AMERICAN & INDIGENOUS STUDIES / NAIS, TO DISSEMINATE IMPORTANT SCHOLARSHIP ACROSS THE INTERNATIONAL, INTERDISCIPLINARY FIELDS OF INDIGENOUS STUDIES. THE JOURNAL PUBLISHES TWO ISSUES IN EACH VOLUME YEAR.
