PROVIDE ESSENTIAL LEADERSHIP AND RESOURCES TO CLASSICAL MUSIC PRODUCERS AND PRESENTERS, ENCOURAGING AND SUPPORTING THEIR ARTISTIC, ORGANIZATIONAL, AND FISCAL DEVELOPMENT. ACSO IS THE NETWORK, THE VOICE, AND THE FORUM FOR CLASSICAL MUSIC IN THE WEST. OUR VISISON IS THAT THE CLASSICAL MUSIC LANDSCAPE OF CALIFORNIA AND THE REGION IS VIBRANT, HEALTHY, DIVERSE, AND CONNECTED TO THE COMMUNITIES IT SERVES.

ACSO REPRESENTS AND SERVES OVER 130 ORGANIZATIONS AND 2,500 INDIVIDUAL BOARD AND STAFF MEMBERS OF ORCHESTRAS, CHORUSES AND FESTIVALS COMPRISED OF PROFESSIONAL, ACADEMINC, YOUTH AND COMMUNITY-BASED ORGANIZATIONS IN CALIFORNIA AND THE WESTERN UNITED STATES. ACSO PROVIDES NEWS, RESOURCES, FIELD SURVEYS, NETWORKING, AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES TO MEMBERS.
ANNUAL CONFERENCE THAT PROVIDES GUEST SPEAKERS AND SPECIAL FORUMS DESIGNED TO ENCOURAGE AND INVIGORATE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT WITHIN THE CLASSICAL MUSIC COMMUNITY. THE CONFERENCE WAS A VIRTUAL-EVENT CONFERENCE IN 2021. THERE WERE A TOTAL OF 289 VIRTUAL ATTENDEES.
