DURING THE YEAR, LAND OF LINCOLN HONOR FLIGHT FLEW WORLD WAR II, KOREAN ERA, AND VIETNAM ERA VETERANS TO WASHINGTON DC TO VISIT THE NATIONAL WAR MEMORIALS DEDICATED TO THEIR SERVICE TO OUR COUNTRY AND OTHER SITES PARTICULARLY INTERESTING TO VETERANS, INCLUDING THE TOMB OF THE UNKNOWNS IN ARLINGTON NATIONAL CEMETERY, THE MARINE MEMORIAL (IWO JIMA STATUE), THE AIR FORCE MEMORIAL, AND THE SMITHSONIAN AIR AND SPACE MUSEUM. OTHER EXPENSES WERE INCURRED THROUGH PROVIDING THE "FLIGHTLESS HONOR FLIGHT" TO VETERANS WHO WERE PHYSICALLY INCAPABLE OF EVER GOING ON AN ACTUAL FLIGHT.
