OUR VETERAN SERVICE OFFICERS ARE ADVOCATES ON BEHALF OF THE VETERANS SO THEY MAY CLAIM BENEFITS THROUGH THE VETERANS ADMINISTRATION. THROUGH THESE EFFORTS THE VETERANS WERE ABLE TO CLAIM OVER 36 MILLION DOLLARS OF MUCH NEEDED BENEFITS.
PROVIDE VETERANS WITH JOB TRAINING, JOB SEARCH AND PLACEMENT, INTEGRATION INTO SOCIETY, COUNSELING, MEDICAL AND HOUSING ASSISTANCE INCLUDING HOMELESS RESIDENTS, EDUCATIONAL SERVICES, EMPLOYMENT, AND THE FACILITIES TO INTEGRATE THE DISABLED SO THEY MAY IMPROVE THEIR QUALITY OF LIFE AND THE COMMUNITIES THEY LIVE IN.PARTNERED WITH THE U OF I TO DEVELOP A DIABETES RESEARCH PROGRAM; THIS INITIATIVE IS IN RESPONSE TO THE LATEST STATISTICS THAT AN ESTIMATED 500,000 VETERANS ARE AFFECTED BY TYPE II DIABETES.
