Describe the Organization's Program Activity:
Part 3
DURING THE OREGON COAST MILITARY MUSEUM'S OPERATIONS IN THE YEAR 2022, THE FACILITY CREATED VARIOUS NEW EXHIBITIONS, EXPERIENCES AND OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE PUBLIC TO ENGAGE WITH THE ARTIFACTS AND STORIES ENTRUSTED TO THE INSTITUTION. AS NOTED IN OUR GOALS FOR THE PREVIOUS YEAR, THE MUSEUM OPENED A RESEARCH CENTER WHERE THE PUBLIC CAN RESEARCH AND ACCESS INFORMATION ABOUT THE MUSEUM'S COLLECTIONS THAT WOULD NOT BE AVAILABLE WITHIN CURRENT EXHIBITIONS. RESEARCH MATERIALS WERE ALSO EXPANDED WITH LIBRARY SECTIONS BEING INTRODUCED INTO INDIVIDUAL EXHIBITIONS. THE FIRST STATE OF EXPANDED AND IMPROVED LIGHTING WAS ALSO FINISHED, MAKING IT EASIER FOR VISITORS TO ENTER THE FACILITY AND USE ITS ENTRANCEWAY FOR A VARIETY OF ACTIVITIES. NEW EXHIBITIONS WERE ALSO INTRODUCED THANKS TO GENEROUS CONTRIBUTIONS BY THE PUBLIC, INCLUDING NEW VEHICLES TO ENGAGE WITH THE PUBLIC AND AN ASSORTMENT OF AFTIFACTS THAT WILL EXPAND THE HISTORY THE MUSEUM COVERS AND PRESERVES IN TRUST TO THE COMMUNITY.PLANNED ACTIVIES FOR THE YEAR OF 2023 WILL INCLUDE THE FINISHING OF THE "LIGHTING PROJECT" WHICH WILL INCREASE THE LIGHTING WITHIN THE MAIN EXHIBITION HALL, NEW ARRANGEMENTS FOR THE FACILITIES MOROPOOL (VEHICLES IN COLLECTION) AND NEW EXPERIENCES FOR THE PUBLIC TO ENJOY INCLUDING GUIDED TOURS AND EXPERIENCES.
