GRASSROOT GIVERS CONTINUED ITS MISSION OF MAKING A CONNECTION BETWEEN THE NEEDS IN OUR COMMUNITY AND THOSE WITH RESOURCES TO SHARE. OUR TWO MAIN PROGRAMS, A COMMUNITY STORE AND A BOOK PROJECT, DISTRIBUTE LIKE-NEW DONATIONS TO THOSE IN NEED IN OUR COMMUNITY. IN 2021, GRASSROOT GIVERS GAVE AWAY, FREE OF CHARGE, $290,336 WORTH OF DONATED CLOTHING AND HOUSEWARES AND $110,000 WORTH OF DONATED BOOKS TO PEOPLE IN NEED. THIS ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY BUSINESS MODEL KEEPS DONATIONS OUT OF THE LANDFILL BY RECYCLING AND RE-PURPOSING BEAUTIFUL IN-KIND DONATIONS.WE SUPPORT INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES IN POVERTY.
